I am a third-year bachelor student in History at the Free University of Brussels. As part of the Talent for Research (TvO) program, I will be joining the FORAGENCY team as a student-intern. During my internship, I will be assisting with data collection and processing. I will also write my bachelor-paper on the curative uses of the environment in Belgian Congo. At the end of this internship I would like to follow up on this research in my Master dissertation. My interest in healing practices in Belgian Congo emerged during my studies, and motivated me to join FORAGENCY. The close analysis of colonial archives and field data during the internship, as well as the opportunities offered by the program will hopefully strengthen my research skills and will allow me to gain more experience
